Make A Wish

Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy has partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota and their Season of Wishes campaign.  Granting a child’s wish at the holidays is what makes this season magical.  And for a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, no wish is too big or too small.  The Make A Wish Foundation® of Minnesota has been granting wishes to children in our state for more than 25 years.  At this year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony, Make A Wish Foundation® of Minnesota will be selling candles with a portion of proceeds going to grant the wish for Tanner of Brainerd, Minnesota.

Season of Wishes™ combines the spirit of holiday giving with hope, strength and joy that is generated from a Make-A-Wish experience. The campaign also provides a tremendous forum for the public to experience the extraordinary emotional impact that comes from fulfilling a child’s greatest wish.
